Amarillo Bed & Breakfast - Bournemouth

Had a fantastic stay at Amarillo! The decor is fine, and the beds are super comfy. Ged and Jane are amazing hosts, so cute and helpful with local tips. Breakfast was delicious too!

It has excellent and lovely location really close to the train stations & the bus stations. The hotel serves fab food. Excellent service, the breakfast is plentiful and superb. We loved it so would like to stay longer.

The decor is lovely, and breakfast offers a great variety. Limited parking made it tricky for us, though.

I stayed for 8 nights in a nicely decorated Standard Double Room. The bed was super comfy, and Jane and Ged were great hosts. Breakfast was varied and included crumpets, which I loved! Highly recommend this spot for its warm atmosphere.

One downside was the limited parking on the premises, relying on street parking in the neighborhood was necessary.

Staying in the Beautiful King Room was amazing! It had air conditioning, a coffee machine, and a tv. The bathroom was private with a shower, and they even provided bathrobes and slippers. WiFi worked great. Loved the attention to detail. Breakfast was a treat with plenty to choose from!

It was all perfect.

The hosts created a warm atmosphere. The continental breakfast stood out was great including boiled eggs, though a cooked option would have enhanced the experience. Some facilities, like the small bathroom in the room and limited parking, detracted from the overall comfort. The arrangement for the private bathroom being located along the landing wasn't.

Parking on the premises is limited, so you'll likely be relying on street parking nearby. The room's bathroom could've used some more space, particularly the sink area which was cramped and tricky to use due to low overhead clearance. The limited savory options during breakfast could use some variety to keep things interesting. Access to cold beverages was sporadic, and better signage could help first-timers find the place without wandering around.

Couples looking for a charming getaway

The hosts, Jane and Ged, were warm and were very good too. They even offered to give us a ride into town when we needed a taxi, now that's service! The breakfast was AMAZING! Only a small extra for a proper cooked breakfast, and it was worth every penny. I still think about the fresh fruit and pastries waiting for us each morning.

It wasn't exactly a budget choice, but overall it felt justified.

The staff were fantastic, the breakfast was plentiful and enjoyable, offering fruit, toast, and jam. the hotel is stunningly beautiful and quaint, located in a central area.

The rooms were beautifully decorated and new-fashioned. Tea and coffee making equipment, multi-channel TV, and ironing facilities were provided. the staff and the host were all amiable. the location was stunning with lovely plants surrounding the house.

The Amarillo Guesthouse boasts an incredible location near Knyveton Gardens, making it very convenient to reach the city center, Boscombe beach, and both Boscombe and Bournemouth piers.
